This cardiovascular risk panel combines traditional cholesterol testing with advanced cholesterol and inflammatory biomarker testing to help you and your healthcare provider to identify “hidden risks” and act sooner. It may be appropriate for any individual with a family history of cardiovascular disease (CVD), those who want to better understand their CVD risk, and those desiring a more personalized approach to CVD risk assessment and primary prevention. Early screening with the Advanced Heart Health Test Panel, combined with proper diet, exercise, and oversight from your doctor, may help reduce risk of heart attack or stroke.

CVD is the leading cause of death in men and women1. Fifty percent of patients hospitalized with coronary artery disease have normal cholesterol levels. Knowing your current lipid (different types of fats, like cholesterol and triglycerides) and other cardiac biomarker levels, that are unique to your personal cardiovascular risk, may help you and your doctor identify issues before they become problematic.

The Hemoglobin A1c test is the gold standard for measuring blood sugar levels; it identifies average blood sugar (glucose) levels over the past 2-3 months so you can track your progress in managing your diabetes. Glucose blood levels are tightly controlled by hormones like insulin produced by the pancreas. Consistently high blood glucose is typically seen in individuals with uncontrolled or undiagnosed diabetes. In people with diabetes, insulin is either less effective or not produced in sufficient quantity thus making it harder to manage the amount of sugar passing through the blood.

Common signs of high blood sugar levels include increased thirst, increased hunger, frequent urination, fatigue, blurry vision, darkened areas of the folds in the skin (often found in the armpits, groin, and/or neck), and weight loss.

$60.00

This test checks for prostate health and can help identify enlarged prostate and other inflammatory conditions in men. PSA (prostate-specific antigen) is a protein in blood that is often higher if you have prostate cancer, or if you have a non-cancerous condition like an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) or inflammation of the prostate (prostatitis). This test can help identify these problems so you can make informed decisions about your health.

$50.00

Vintage Wellness Clinic’s Cholesterol Test Panel can help evaluate the health of your heart and arteries. The panel measures lipids: LDL (bad) cholesterol, HDL (good) cholesterol, and triglycerides (the fat in blood). The results can be an important part of evaluating your overall health. High lipid levels usually have no symptoms, and some people can have high lipid levels for years without knowing it. That’s why it’s so important to get tested regularly.

$40.00

This Thyroid Function Risk test measures the blood level of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) to evaluate thyroid function, which plays an important role in regulating weight, energy, body temperature, mood, and overall health.

Urinalysis

$30.00

This urine test screens for possible problems with your metabolism and kidneys by examining the appearance, concentration, and content in your urine, including the amount of protein, glucose, and other substances that may indicate various health conditions.
